An AI that knows
your whole event.
Ask Steven is the optional assistant with the full context of what you’re managing - guests, budget, tasks, vendors, and timeline. Ask in plain language; it acts only with your approval.

Why it’s different
Not a generic chatbot. A planner that knows your wedding.
Full context of your event
Steven reads your guest list, budget, tasks, vendors, and timeline - so you never have to re-explain your wedding. Ask a question and the answer already knows your situation.
Answers from your real numbers
"How many haven't RSVP'd?" or "How much is left in catering?" comes back with your actual figures, in your event's currency - not generic advice you have to adapt.
Acts only with your approval
When you ask Steven to change something, it shows an approval card first. Nothing is added, edited, or deleted until you confirm - you stay in control.
Does the busywork for you
Add a batch of guests, log a supplier deposit, create a follow-up task, or draft an RSVP reminder - all from one sentence, instead of clicking through screens.
Real planning know-how
Beyond your data, Steven draws on real wedding planning experience for etiquette, budgeting rules of thumb, and timeline norms - culturally aware, not boilerplate.
Optional, on your terms
The AI assistant is opt-in. Turn it on or off per event in Settings, and a credit meter shows exactly how much you've used. Plan entirely without it if you prefer.
How it works
Optional to switch on. Effortless to use.
01
Turn it on for your event
Ask Steven is optional. Enable it on a paid plan from Settings, and switch it off any time - the rest of STEVEN works exactly the same without it.
02
Ask in plain language
Type what you need the way you'd text a friend. Steven uses your live event data to answer, draft messages, or suggest the next move.
03
Approve any changes
If a request would change your event, Steven shows an approval card with the exact change. Confirm to apply it, or deny to keep things as they are.
AI assistant questions, answered.
Is the AI assistant required to use STEVEN?
No. Ask Steven is completely optional. Every part of STEVEN - guests, budget, seating, check-in, memories - works fully without it. You can turn the assistant on or off per event in Settings whenever you like.
What does Steven actually know about my event?
Steven has the context of the event you're managing: your guest list and RSVP statuses, your budget and spending, your tasks, your vendors, and your timeline. That's why its answers use your real numbers instead of generic advice.
Can the AI change my data without asking?
No. Reading your data happens automatically, but any change - adding guests, logging an expense, creating a task - is shown on an approval card first. Nothing is written to your event until you confirm.
Which plans include Ask Steven?
The assistant is available on paid plans (STEVEN Plus and Pro), each with monthly AI credits that refresh every 30 days. The free Starter tier doesn't include AI access, so you can start planning first and add the assistant later.
Is my event data used to train AI models?
No. Your event data is used only to answer your own questions in the moment. We don't use it to train AI models, and our site signals opt out of AI training crawlers.
Can my collaborators use the assistant too?
Yes. Collaborators you invite can use Ask Steven for your event. A few owner-only actions, like bulk-adding many guests at once, stay limited to the event owner, but everything else is available to your team.
