Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PrinTrail, the operator of STEVEN. By creating an account, submitting an RSVP, uploading content, or otherwise using STEVEN, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use STEVEN on behalf of an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization to these Terms.

2. The service

STEVEN is a wedding and event management platform: guest list and RSVP management, budget tracking, seating and layout planning, task and timeline planning, guest photo and video galleries (Memories), notifications, and an AI planning assistant. Features vary by subscription plan and may change over time as we improve the product.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
  • Upload content that is infringing, defamatory, obscene, or that you do not have the right to share - including other people's personal data without permission.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, events, or our systems.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the operation of the service.
  • Use guest contact details collected through STEVEN for spam or resale.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content

  • Hosts own their event data. Guest lists, budgets, seating plans, and other event information you enter belong to you.
  • Guests own their uploads. Photos and videos uploaded to a Memories gallery remain the property of the guest who uploaded them.
  • By uploading content, guests grant the event host and STEVEN a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content within the event's pages and galleries. This license ends when the content or the event is deleted, except for short-lived backup copies.
  • You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service - storing, backing up, and displaying your content to the people you share it with. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

6. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar's terms apply to payment processing.
  • Prices, plan limits, and included features are described on our pricing page.
  • Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are given for unused time unless required by law.
  • One-time plans grant premium access for the period described at purchase, after which the account reverts to the free plan with event data retained in read-only mode.
  • If a payment fails, we may downgrade the account to the free plan after a grace period. Your data is not deleted by a downgrade.

7. AI features

STEVEN includes AI-powered features such as the "Ask Steven" assistant and AI layout generation. AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. It is provided for planning convenience only - verify important details (budgets, dates, vendor commitments, legal or contractual matters) yourself before relying on them. AI features may consume plan credits and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep STEVEN available, especially around event dates, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. Keep your own copies of critical information - we provide export tools to help.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrinTrail and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of STEVEN. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or PHP 5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

  • You may stop using STEVEN and delete your account at any time. Contact us at steven@printrail.com if you need help with deletion or data export.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or have been inactive for an extended period (with notice).
  • After termination, we delete or anonymize your data as described in the Privacy Policy, with a 30-day window for data export where practical.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. As STEVEN expands internationally, we may update this section to provide local terms for other regions; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence are not affected.

12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give notice (for example by email or an in-app notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of STEVEN after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
